Hip Stability in Yoga

The hips are the transition between the back and legs, the center of most of our movements. In this class we explore all the directions of movement of the hip and look for stability where it is missing and movement where this is missing. The hips need more and more attention in our sedentary society, with monotonous, repetitive movement patterns.

Daniela Schütt came to yoga almost 20 years ago with a keen interest in understanding the functions of the Eastern techniques through modern research, especially in the body's stress and recovery systems. Daniela has over the years been diving deeply into many yoga styles such as Ashtanga yoga, kundalini yoga, Hatha and yin and would like to spread the yoga from the perspective of being curious bodynauts.
